GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE belongs to the group of medicines called 'nootropics', primarily used to boost brain performance or wakefulness, enhances mood, and improve cognitive ability in persons dealing with neurodegenerative diseases like dementia of the Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson's disease. GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE contains three medicines namely Ginkgo biloba,  Piracetam, and Vinpocetine. Ginkgo biloba works by improving blood flow to the brain and acts as an antioxidant (slow down the damage to cells). Piracetam falls in the category of drugs called acetylcholinesterase inhibitors. This drug increases the levels of a substance (acetylcholine) in the brain, which is involved in improving memory functioning by slowing down the breakdown of acetylcholine (a substance that allows nerves to communicate and important for normal brain functioning). Vinpocetine works like a neuroprotective agent that minimizes damage to the brain. It also prevents the risk of blood clotting in the brain that makes brain cells (neurons) to die. All three drugs in combination improve the mood, memory, and thinking ability of a person.

Directions for Use

GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE can be taken with or without food. The tablet form of GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE should be swallowed as a whole with an ample amount of water, do not chew or break the tablet.

The use of GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE is not allowed in patients dealing with severe renal impairment, cerebral haemorrhage, and Huntington's Chorea. Additnitionaly, persons who are allergic to any of the components present in GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE is not allowed to take GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE. A person who has a weak immune system or taking immunosuppressive medicine is not allowed to take GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE as it may cause serious side effects. Tell your doctor about your medical condition and the medicines you are taking. Alzheimer’s disease may affect the ability to drive so a person must not perform any activity that needs mental alertness unless your doctor tells you that it is safe to do so. frequent use of GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE may cause Behavioral sensitization, a process where a person does repeated behaviour, so talk to your doctor in such a case.

Drug-drug Interactions: Some medications may change the working action of GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE so tell your doctor about every prescription/nonprescription drugs and herbal products you are using. The possible drugs that can interact with GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE include NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen), antihistamine (Diphenhydramine), anticoagulant medication (apixaban), anticholinergics medicines, (tolterodine), and anti-depressants (fluoxetine).

Drug- Food Interactions: Food will not influence the effect of GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE, but a person should not be taken with alcohol because alcohol may reduce its effect.

Drug-Disease Interaction:

Drug-Disease Interactions: A person should tell their doctor if they are dealing with a heart rhythm disorder, a stomach ulcer, urination problems, asthma or other breathing disorder, liver or kidney disease, and a seizure.

Safety Advice

ALCOHOL

You are recommended to avoid alcohol consumption while taking GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE. Alcohol intake, along with GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE, can worsen the symptoms of dementia.

PREGNANCY

GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE can only be used in pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the unborn baby.

BREAST FEEDING

It is not known if GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE passes into breast milk or not. Breast-feeding women should ask their doctor before using this medication.

DRIVING

GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE can cause an undesirable reaction in the body that can impair a person's thinking ability. One should avoid driving and do activities that require mental alertness.

LIVER

Take GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE only after the doctor's prescription, especially if you are dealing with Liver diseases/conditions as your doctor may adjust the dose as required.

KIDNEY

Take GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE after the recommendation of a doctor, especially if you have a history of Kidney diseases/conditions. The dosing strength needs to be adjusted by your doctor as required. However, GINKGO BILOBA+PIRACETAM+VINPOCETINE can not be used in patients with severe renal disease.
